Employee Assistance Program Australia (EAP) aims to ensure that all Australian workers who experience mental health and other well-being issues are supported, and that they work within positive workplace cultures that are conducive to their mental health and wellbeing.

 

Research suggests that the majority of workers feel unsupported when mentally unwell, and that less than half of workplace managers have an understanding of mental health issues.

 

Many workers are also worried about the impact of disclosing mental health issues will have on their employment and are fearful of being discriminated.

 

Employee Assistance Program Australia provides a confidential portal through which employees are able to access a range of professional mental health and well-being services at no cost to them.
